We are absolutely over the moon and so proud to be recognised as one of the British Chambers of Commerce
UK Business Heroes for our work in support of our local community during Covid-19.
Massive thank you to Sheffield Chamber of Commerce for voting for us and of course to our fantastic team and drivers who have worked hard to produce safe and responsible environments for those that needed to travel.
We now have 99% of our vehicles with protective screens, we have invested over £50,000 in PPE for our drivers and staff, we worked closely with local NHS Covid-19 support teams, including Yorkshire Ambulance, East Midlands ambulance as well as smaller departments to make sure those needing essential treatment were able to travel safely to their appointments.
As well as this, CityGrab reopened over 300 outlets and went from doing 128 orders a week to over 5,000 orders a week generating over £3m back into the economy meaning we were able to donate over £57,000 to local charities such as Help a Hallam Child, St Lukes, Weston Park and Children’s Hospital Charity.
These achievements have been the product of such hard work and dedication by the team to make sure we found as many ways as possible to support our communities at such vulnerable times.
City Taxis raises £1,834.40 for Barnsley Hospice’s Accumulator Challenge 2023.
