All money raised through donations, sponsored walks, bear-athons and everything in between will help Sheffield Children’s where it is needed most, which is currently a new Cancer and Leukaemia ward.

About the Bear trail
Launching Monday 12th July
You will meet 100 little bears decorated by talented school children of all ages from schools across the region. Plus 60 big bear sculptures brought to life by professional local and international artists.
The bears will be placed, here, bear and everywhere across the city of Sheffield for you to find. When you find a bear you tick it off on your map or Bears of Sheffield app and if you really like your bear you can donate towards it!
Meet Our Bear: Steampunk
Our Steampunk Bear sculpture is depicted in a steel style armour which is a direct reference to Sheffield’s industrial roots, specifically the city’s world-famous steel production during the Industrial Revolution. The artist, Victoria Patton, has drawn inspiration from Steampunk; a futuristic yet retro style, and 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery.

With The Children’s Hospital Charity close to the heart of many of our employees, it’s amazing to be involved in such an exciting campaign that brings the people of Sheffield together, whilst supporting the charity.
How we are raising funds
17 members of #TeamCity will take part in the Charity’s Bearathon, running 2.7km per day throughout September, equalling a marathon a day!
Bring the kids along to our colouring in sessions for your chance to win £150 for their school.

Time: 10am-4pm
Cheer on #TeamCity as they take on the Sheffield Half Marathon.
