Cheers to Safe Journeys! City Taxis partners with Abbeydale Road Beer Festival to promote responsible rides.
Wow, what an evening we had at our ‘Steampunk Closing Party’ marking the end of the much-loved ‘Bears of Sheffield’ campaign.
Held at Decks, Steelyard Kelham, the night centred around a silent auction and raffle composed of many amazing prizes kindly donated by some fantastic people, but also included fun and games such as a basketball shoot-out and stocks, where lucky members of staff and guests had to opportunity to throw eggs and custard pies at Managing Director, Arnie Singh, and Business Development Manager, Paul Gosney (thanks for being such great sports!).
Overall, throughout the evening we raised a staggering £33,587.66! Bringing the overall total raised to an unbelievable £62,103.44!
All the money raised will go towards helping the Sheffield Children’s Hospital where it is needed most, which is currently building a new Cancer and Leukaemia ward.
