Cheers to Safe Journeys! City Taxis partners with Abbeydale Road Beer Festival to promote responsible rides.
With Hospice Care week falling in October, the City Taxis team used the opportunity to rummage through their homes and fish out any unwanted items that could be donated to the Barnsley Hospice Retail Hub.
Amongst the items donated were men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, books, picture frames and even feather duvets!
The donation hopes to raise a little money for the hospice whilst reducing our carbon footprint through recycling.
The Retail Hub has four rooms packed with good condition, pre-loved items at affordable prices. All sales play a vital role in fundraising for the hospice which needs to raise nearly £2 million a year to fund patient care. If you haven’t already checked out the hub you should definitely take a trip – you might even find a few hidden gems!
