City Taxis and Chesterfield vehicle hire company, B&B Vehicles, went head-to-head over the weekend in a charity football match, raising money for local charities The Sheffield 1000 and Support Dogs.

The game, which took place at Bramall Lane, was organised by City Taxis’ Business Development Director Paul Gosney, and B&B Vehicles’ Maz Kenyon, with the support of City’s long-standing commercial partners Sheffield United.

The charity match ended 1-1 with both Goalkeepers in outstanding form. The match was decided by a penalty shoot-out, City Taxis coming out 2-1 winners… with English Professional football Joe Green saving 3 of the 5 with world-class stop. Although VAR wasn’t present, B&B’s final spot kick hit the bar and down onto the line, was it over? We will never know! But the real winners on the day were both Charities…

Well done to all involved and big thanks to our newly promoted Premier League team Sheffield United for hosting.
