Stuck for ideas to keep the kids occupied this half term? We’ve got you covered! Here is a list of our top 5 activities to do this week:

  • Emergency Services Museum – Get hands-on with 200 years of emergency services history at The National Emergency Services Museum! Step inside a real Victorian combined fire, police and ambulance station and explore 3 floors of interactive displays for an educational day out, packed with exciting things to do for the whole family.

  • Village Pumpkins, Dronfield – This pumpkin patch is a little bit further out of Sheffield, but is well worth the journey and promises to be a brilliant day out.
No booking is available and the event is free, you simply pay for the pumpkins you pick.
As well as pumpkin picking, you can enjoy refreshments from local caterers, including wood fired pizza and specialist butchers items served fresh on the farm.
Open 9:00-17:00 everyday until Sunday October 31st.

  • Weston Park Museum boasts extensive collections in many areas including social, natural and global history, with a wealth of permanent and temporary exhibition galleries offering fascinating facts in large amounts. Ideal for curious school age kids and their enthusiastic grown-ups!

  • Rock Up Meadowhall – Discover an epic indoor climbing centre at Rock Up Meadowhall that’s perfect for anyone from the age of 4 years old and up! No matter your ability, you’re sure to have a thrilling time.
