Cheers to Safe Journeys! City Taxis partners with Abbeydale Road Beer Festival to promote responsible rides.
Come 9am on Sunday 26th September, 7 members of Team City will be gearing up to start the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for The Sheffield Childrens Hospital.
With a city centre start and finish, a crowd of enthusiastic supporters will cheer participants on as they start and complete the Half Marathon. The event boasts a stunning scenic route with majestic views of the Peak District on the climb to Ringinglow.
The event is due to take place in the final month of The Childrens Hospital Charity’s ‘Bears of Sheffield’ campaign, which City Taxis have been proud to support. With The Children’s Hospital Charity close to the heart of many of our employees, it’s amazing to be involved in such an exciting campaign that brings the people of Sheffield together, whilst supporting the charity.

To further support the charity, City Taxis are challenging friends, family, colleagues, partners and customers to RUN 5km, DONATE £5 and CHALLENGE 5 others to take part!
Participants can run their own 5km route or take part in City Taxis’ Steampunk Bear Challenge, passing some of Sheffield’s landmarks and bears on the way, finishing up at Steelyard Kelham for a victory coffee or breakfast. Check out the Strava route here: https://bit.ly/3hYuzFJ
