Cheers to Safe Journeys! City Taxis partners with Abbeydale Road Beer Festival to promote responsible rides.
This week, we teamed up with Sheffield Steelers and Cash for Kids Mission Christmas to deliver their annual Teddy Bear Toss!
Fans from both teams arrived at Sheffield Arena with their bears or soft toys, and at the time of the first Steelers goal, thousands of toys were thrown onto the ice.
What an amazing sight it was to see so many toys raining down into the rink. The bumper crowd of nearly 8,000 people all got the memo and really made it an occasion to remember!
All the donated toys have gone towards helping Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, who support children at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas morning and will hugely benefit from this act of generosity.
Mission Christmas has officially announced that this year they have managed to fulfil ALL 18,000 applications for gifts. That’s right, 18,000! This will certainly put a smile on every child’s face who will now have a gift waiting for them under the tree!
