After almost a year at City HQ, we have invited The Archer Project to stay as our Charity Incubator for 2023!

We set up our City Charity incubator in 2020 to support charities in the community, allowing a local charity to join us in our offices, taking away some of the financial and business pressures they face.

The Archer Project is a place where homeless and vulnerable people can change their lives for the better. The charity’s mission is to help homeless people achieve a better life by supporting them to develop their independence, improve their ability to tackle setbacks and help to identify and change negative behaviour to improve their wellbeing.

Following an extremely tough period for the charity, who are working flat out to keep the project alive since their donations have decreased, we have taken the decision to invite The Archer Project to stay with us for another year.

In a bid to further understand homelessness and raise awareness around the issue of rough sleeping, The Archer Project’s CEO Tim Renshaw took to the streets for a two-week sleepout. Tim spent 14 nights sleeping in doorways and churchyards whilst still trying to get his work done. The phenomenal gesture was documented on Tim’s LinkedIn page, giving a deep insight into the fears and emotions of the homeless and vulnerable. Archer Project will also be holding their inaugural Fire and Ice Charity Ball next month. With donations dropping over the year, the fundraiser hopes to allow the charity to continue providing its services to the homeless and vulnerable. We are absolutely delighted to continue working with The Archer Project and cannot wait to see what the next year has in store!
