Cheers to Safe Journeys! City Taxis partners with Abbeydale Road Beer Festival to promote responsible rides.
Throughout May, City Taxis took on the Accumulator Challenge to help raise funds for our Barnsley Charity of the Year, Barnsley Hospice.
We joined 17 other local businesses in this fun and innovative challenge to raise as much as possible for the charity, using a loan of £31.
We are excited to announce that with the help of our wonderful team, we have raised £1,834.40 overall for the Barnsley Hospice. £1,524.40 was raised through the commitment made by us to donate 10p from every completed journey in Barnsley throughout May, in addition, another £310 was raised by the Barnsley team who held a raffle for staff, driver-partners, and friends, with all prizes kindly donated by local charities.
All the money that has been raised by the Accumulator Challenge will provide the hospice with vital funds to give the best possible care and service to patients and their families.
